Blurry breakfast spread at the hostel |
 |
My breakfast - cucumber salad, pasta salad, cabbage salad, bread with pesto, and cappucino |
My first meal in country was a complimentary breakfast buffet at the hostel where I stayed. Filling, tasty, and varied. I skipped the olives because (and I say this in hushed tones, here in Israel) I hate olives. Not pictured, but also sampled (in round two) was Greek yogurt with granola and halva, a Jewish confectionery like a sweet bread. It comes in lots of flavors, but the breakfast serving was a simple vanilla.
